EXCITED THAT SHE CONTINUED THE STORY...

I loved the first book by author Susan Schussler (Between the Raindrops) and was very excited to find that she was writing a second book. The second book was even better than the first. It was steamier, and had more twists than the first story. The characters are great and I loved to see them continue to develop.
Sarah has such a strong character to get through the craziness that is Johnathan’s life. I was impressed by her strength and the determination she had to protect her life with her true love. I didn't expect the end of the story and that is what made it great.

Susan your the best

This book is so great. I was in so much love reading it and was dreaming about it in my head all the time. Now I'm feeling depressed lol wishing it wasn't over. I can't wait to read the next book in this line. This book just makes me wish I had someone like John so crazy in love over me. I feel like I'm going to be single forever. This book just like the first had me dreaming of everything going on in it and thinking what was going to happen next. I couldn't put it down and had to tell myself I have to stop and go to bed now, it's late and I have to be up early. Sarah and John are the best. You really feel how John loves her and always wants to keep her safe. Susan, makes you really feel everything when reading her books and you can imagine everything so clearly like it's almost real. Again this book had me thinking about it so much and I couldn't go to sleep because my mind was just running on and on non stop thinking what is going to happen next. I even woke up thinking about it and going straight to reading it some more before even getting up lol. Susan you really write good books, and I really like you the best along with Nicholas Sparks out of all the authors I have read from . All I want to do is read nothing but books from you. Your books make me actually like to read. Please say the next book won't take as long as this one to come out. Like maybe next week lol just kidding. And again, I really am feeling down now that I finished the book and yes the whole ending was amazing and crazy good. I'm in la la land. It's left me wanting more to read about Sarah and John. To me one of the best and rated way more than just five stars. Great book Susan, I loved it!

Another Winner!!

I just finished Between the Lies and it was so fun to read a story from the perspective of a woman accustomed to middle class life being thrust into the celebrity world. The descriptions of the lavish lifestyle, wardrobe, yachts, weddings, jewelry and cars were so enjoyable especially because the main character took them all in stride and didn’t become a monster, mad for the best of everything money can buy. Also, her experience with the paparazzi was very fresh to me, having never considered what it would be like to suddenly become a celebrity and have your private life exposed in every type of media available to man. Not every writer could pull it off, but Schussler winningly kept her main character sweet and innocent despite the rude awakenings she was confronted by. Schussler reminds us that true love, family and friends are the most valuable of our assets, regardless of the contents of our wallet. Well done!
